I look at the week as 6 Saturdays and one Sunday. All is well in the land of retirement.

    Father Joe,

It sounds like you retired, as if priests really ‘retire’! Hopefully,
you will be posting more as every day is Saturday!

Hope to see you around town one of these days!

    God Bless You!

    Father Joe,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I always enjoy your perspective.

I and many others are very thankful for all the time we were blessed to spend with you at St. Catherine of Alexandria parish. You shared a lot of wisdom with us as well as your creativity and laughter. You welcomed all of us back after Covid and I will always appreciate how good it felt to return to attending Mass in person, hearing your homilies, and seeing you each weekend.

You are deeply missed and I’m glad you have not retired from writing!

        Dear Fr. Joe Jagodensky,

My wife and I married in 1981. We are not sure how we learned about your ministry but we do both vividly remember listening regularly to Rock of Ages early in our marriage. She was a “Nones” convert and in the early 90’s we struggled to find ways to grow in the Catholic faith raising our 4 children. Mollie was religious about walking every day. I was more a sitter. We found your program an excellent way for spiritual development and bodily strengthening.

Mollie still walks the first hour of every day. It has become her prayer time. I struggle to walk just a few days per week. We would like to find something like Rock of Ages to draw us back into dual development. Is there any chance the old ROA’s recordings are archived? Do you know of similar recordings we might continue growing with?

It was good to find this website and see you writing about our faith. Thank you for your ministry and I look forward to learning more. May God bless and keep you close to His Light.

      • Many many thanks for your kind words… Radio broadcasting these days does not need public service announcements like my program was and it is very expensive to buy an hour of airtime… I’m glad I was able to be a part of your lives even over the airwaves
